Today I was out running some errands and picking up a few last minute items to take with me. While I was out I grabbed a game that I thought the bigs would enjoy for family night tonight. And it hit me...this is our last FFF...Family of Five Friday! And as excited as I am to get on that plane, it has caused me to be a little tearful tonight. This starts our "week of lasts" with our family as we have known it for the last almost 9 years: last family night, last church service, last week of home school, last field trip, last week as a mommy of only 3 children. Everything changes in 7 days!
But after wading through my adoption hormones for the last few hours, I have come to realize that this week of lasts has to happen before a lifetime of firsts can start. And I can't wait for all of the firsts!
