Tuesday's post is coming. That was adoption day!
Wednesday was passport day and a finally a little time to just hang out in the room! This child will eat ANYTHING I give him, and noodles in the room have been a big hit. Not to mention that in here he is so much more relaxed and playful than when we are out. I think the hustle and bustle of the city is still quite overwhelming for him.
Thursday morning Mycah had his TB blood test done. Other than two silent tears on Tuesday at nap time, this was the first time (and only so far) that I had seen him cry. Again...totally silent. Breaks.This. Mama's. Heart! After the blood draw, we did a little sightseeing in Guangzhou. China is such a country of contrast. You see brand new high rises right next to broken down shacks. Laundry hangs from nearly every window as most people do not have electric dryers. Which makes me think: we sent out our laundry today...wonder where those cute little Mickey Mouse underwear are hanging about right now?
After lunch that day, we set out for the orphanage. Still working on words for that post...hopefully soon.
